F&l members only evening with Susan Kjargard Interactive Webinar 19:00 on 19 February 2024
We are delighted to welcome Susan to talk to us about bridging the gap between science and practice. Apart from her involvement in the “operation
X” (Helgstrand documentary Susan has been working as an equine behaviour and biomechanics expert for many years. Her competitive career
includes show jumping for her native Denmark at world and nations cup level.
In her mission to improve the lives of our equine counterparts she founded “Blue Berry Hill” using evidence based training with the horse as a respected partner in the learning process. She teaches a module in: Applied Learning Theory, with Dr. Janne Wither Christensen PhD at Aarhus university as well
as the Danish “Bereiter education programme” (IGEQ Level 3) along with her own “Blue Berry Hill” approved instructor programme.
With the pressure of “Equine Safeguarding” (SLO) and the need to take practical steps forward Susan’s well of experience should prove informative
