Irish Day

This year we will be visiting two of the mainstays of the Irish thoroughbred industry.

• First we will visit Godolphin’s Kildangan Stud founded in 1986 and home to 400 horses. We will be treated to a guided tour of the 1500 acre farm. With top of the line facilities including; All weather track, Stallion covering barns, Foaling units and Indoor arenas. Some of their famous names include; Shaamit, High- Rise, Mark of Esteem, Swain, Cape Cross and Singpiel.

Lunch to be confirmed.

In the afternoon will be visiting RACE academy where their trainee jockey
programme has been delivering all round person centred development to young jockeys since 1973. There motto: “Training for the day-educating for tomorrow” permeates every part of their organisation.

Cost for the day will be:
• F&I members £25 (Lunch not included)
• Non-members £35 (Lunch not included)

no spaces will be confirmed unless payment is made within two weeks of signing up.
