Nominations open for F & I Association Annual Awards

It’s time to invite NOMINATIONS to the Committee for the F&I Association’s Annual Awards January 2025.

Recipients of these Annual Awards are determined by the Committee each year, selected from nominations received from you, our members.

At the AGM in January 2024 the awards were as follows:

The Pat Smallwood Award – for “exceptional effort, service and support to F&I” – presented to Faith Ponsonby BHSI

The Tom Searle Award – “to an up-and-coming member of the Association who shows all the elements of being supportive, involved and inspirational within the Association” – we sadly didn’t receive any nominations for 2024, so it was not presented last year.  Such a pity.  More nominations this year please!

The Achievement Award – for “outstanding determination and commitment to their chosen path” – presented to Maggie Doel BHSI

The Queen Elizabeth II Award – for “dedication to the equine industry, as recognised by F&I” – presented to Caroline Moore FBHS

ACTION – Get your thinking cap on, then hit “reply” to this email (not “reply all”, for obvious reasons!) and give us:

 – the name of the F&I member

 – which award you are nominating them for

and, crucially

 – why they deserve it

We’ll need a couple of sentences at least, preferably a paragraph.

We look forward to reading your nominations!

If you would like to read more about each award, consult our website, fandiassociation.org.uk – where you’ll find all sorts of interesting facts about F&I, and the awards, in particular the Pat Smallwood Award which has an illustrious history in its own right.
